Trailhead Yarns all started with summer in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The Cabot Trail showed new beauty daily and inspired Samantha to interpret it on yarn. In the Spring of 2013 Trailhead Yarns was created and started selling hand-dyed Canadian wool. In 2016 a life-changing wool allergy had Samantha looking for non-wool options and realised the lack of quality options. The new mission for Trailhead Yarns was created. To provide beautiful hand-dyed yarns for those with allergies, living in warmer climates, wanting wash and wear as well as vegans yarns. After a year of perfecting the new techniques, THY is now growing and there to meet that great demand.
